What is an Outcome?
MetaCX’s approach to outcome-based success allows you to quickly realize results across the entire customer lifecycle.
When creating Outcomes, it is helpful to think about them using the following framework. An Outcome should be tied to your own capabilities, your customers' business goals, and should be measurable.
Outcome Creation
Step 1
To start creating your first Outcome, navigate to the overview of a customer profile. If your customer has no defined Outcomes, Click 'Create Outcome'
If Outcomes already exist, simply scroll down to the bottom of the page and locate the “+” button, or use the keyboard shortcut <Control+N>.
Step 2
Add a Title and Description to your Outcome and click Create
Tip: You can always come back to edit or expand on this information as your engagement ebbs & flows.
Step 3
After a Title & Description have been initially saved, it is time to add your associated metrics & milestone(s) that house your Milestone Playbooks. Both represent key elements of your Outcome.
Editing & Deleting Outcomes
You can later edit or delete Outcomes if changes have to be made.
To change the title or description, navigate back to the Outcome you would like to edit & hover over the 3 dots in the top right corner.
Business metrics nested under an outcome can be edited in a similar fashion, using the 3 dot menu that appears in the top right corner of the box surrounding the metric.
Milestones can be added, removed, or reordered using the edit icon that appears next to the right-most associated milestone.
